The various functions of the MOZI

MOZI - THE multi-functional tool when climbing with MOBSS

The video (with subtitles in SPANISH, ENGLISH & GERMAN) explains the different functions of the MOZI.

The MOZI is a small but useful multi-functional tool.

The first function
The main function of the MOZI is to lever a stuck MOBSS out of a borehole. To do this, proceed as follows: first try to unscrew the MOBSS counterclockwise. If the MOBSS cannot be removed, even after you have tried to drive it in a bit, either with your thumb or with a carabiner or with the thin end of the MOZI (avoid hitting the plastic pull-out flap!), then the MOZI comes into play. Take the tool, slide its fork between the pull-out flap and the rock wall and lift out in MOBSS.

The second function of the MOZI
You can also use the handle of the MOZI to clean out the sand and dirt of a clogged borehole with rotary movements. To do this, grab the MOZI by the fork and push the narrow handle into the borehole. With a twisting motion you can remove the dirt and open up the borehole.

The third function
You can use the MOZI to repair a MOBSS. The outer part of its fork can be used like an open-end 13mm spanner, which you can apply to the hexagon screw (for that you have to push the knurled head towards the cone). In this way you can turn the cone out of its anchor bolt. You can also do this if the MOBSS is stuck and cannot be unscrewed by hand. You can place the deeper or smaller recess of the fork on the cone, between its small bars, and then open or close the cone with the MOZI.
